Liberon Gilt Cream is an easy to apply gilt finish for restoring old gilding work and for giving a gilt finish to new surfaces. It is easy to use and all colours are intermixable. Seal porous surfaces such as wood and plaster with Liberon Fontenay Base before applying the gilt cream. Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust. Apply to the surface with a cotton cloth or small brush for intricate areas. Allow to dry for a minimum of 4 hours, longer if possible and either leave matt or buff to shine. For a better finish we recommend applying several thin coats of gilt cream as appose to one thick coat.
