Steel Wool can be used on any surface without leaving an oily film, and can be used confidently on fine woods without marking. Its pleasant to use without any disagreeable odour. Grade 0000 is ideal for applying wax polishes, cutting back intermediate coats of French polish and lacquers, polishing metals, cleaning metal and glass. Grades 00,0 and 1 are ideal for heavier work, especially stripping and cleaning fine wood surfaces, cleaning suede, marble, linoleum and tiles. Grades 2, 3 and 4 are ideal for heavy stripping and cleaning work, stripping paint and varnish for wood, cleaning beams, panels and very dirty floors.
