Transparent Sealer comes in 250ml tins and is used to seal porous surfaces such as stone prior to gilding. Once applied it will be surface dry in 4-6 hours and hard dry in 24 hours. Once dry you can then apply the Gold Size for the Gold Leaf and the Transparent Sealer will stop this from soaking into the surface.
