Product Description

This brush is an essential part of any gilders toolkit, the gilders mop is used to help leaf settle down onto size as well as removing any excess leaf that hasn't adhered to the size. The soft hairs of the mop will brush away any loose metal leaf. These soft bristles are fastened to the black, lacquered handle with quills, bound with gold-coloured wire. As these are made from a mix of soft hairs they are far more economical than the Pure Squirrel mops.

These brushes are also well suited for applying gilding water when water gilding.
