Metal Leaf Flake

Metal leaf flakes are finely shredded pieces of metal leaf created from imitation silver or Copper.

These flakes offer versatile decorative possibilities: they can be lightly sprinkled onto a tacky surface to create shimmering highlights, or applied to a prepared, sized surface and gently burnished flat for a unique 'cracked leaf' effect.

Since these flakes are made from imitation metal leaf, they are prone to tarnishing if left unprotected. To preserve their appearance for interior projects, we recommend sealing the surface with Water Based Lacquer for Metal Leaf followed by a coat of durable varnish or lacquer if additional protection is desired.
