Gilders Compo is a traditional decorative material used in gilding and restoration work. Handmade using a traditional recipe, this composition material is designed for creating or repairing ornamental decorative details. It can be pressed into moulds or shaped by hand, making it ideal for producing decorative embellishments and relief designs.

To be honest as a newbie I think it is expensive for the quantity you get. An incremental discount eg 20% for buying 2 etc would be more attractive.
I am considering making my own that wod turn out to be a lot cheapet
Delighted with this product & despite a few false starts repairing a Victorian " Rococo" style picture frame, the finished result is a great improvement.
I've never used compo before , but will certainly be buying again, as I have a weakness for battered old gilt frames.
Handy size compo, for small projects, when it's not worth making it up yourself. Keep it in freezer to use again.
