Restoration of a late 1800s Gilt Monstrance Throne found at the St Dominic Church

The Throne was in a dire need of restoration with various dislodged and damaged pieces. The restoration will be gilded with an amalgamation of silver and 24ct gold leaf and will match the original techniques that were used in order to replicate the original finish.

Antique clock restoration work completed using 24ct Gold Leaf. The antique clock which dates back to the 1800s was gilded completely by hand using 24ct Gold Leaf including both the roman numerals on the clock. The gilding project took around 3 months to complete
